By accessing or using IngestAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

IngestAI is a browser extension and software service that allows users to extract, summarize, and query information from YouTube videos using artificial intelligence.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Payments: We use Stripe to process payments. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees indicated.

Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

Refunds: Services are non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else do so. You must not:

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our system.
• Breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures.
• Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas or parts of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing any part of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of IngestAI and its licensors. The transcripts and content you ingest remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

7. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

• The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, responses, and other content. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations (fabricated information presented as fact).
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before relying on it, especially for critical decisions, professional use, medical advice, legal matters, financial decisions, or any high-stakes applications.
• The Service does not provide professional, medical, legal, financial, or other licensed advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such matters.
• The accuracy of AI-generated content depends on the quality and accuracy of the source material (e.g., YouTube video transcripts). We are not responsible for errors in source content.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall IngestAI, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IngestAI, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable law or regulation;
• Your use or misuse of the Service;
• Your reliance on AI-generated content for critical decisions without independent verification;
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service;
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity, including intellectual property rights;
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
• Any redistribution or commercial use of AI-generated content in violation of these Terms; or
• Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

IngestAI reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with IngestAI in asserting any available defenses. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
